A phase of preparation of more detailed drawings that take into consideration building regulations, legal requirements. I had revised and further progressed drawings with more specificity and detail. It is important to define and develop all the significant aspects of the project and produce a set of drawings and outline specifications to let potential contractors preliminarily cost the job. I had the opportunity to liaise with contractors, take part in the negotiations of the tender and finalise the construction cost with the client and the main contractor. Sometimes revisions to the design had to be made to bring the project scope in line with the possible construction budget. These drawings and specifications have all of the details, dimensions, and notes necessary to communicate the design intent to the builder.
