Sometimes technical drawings in the 1:50 scale are not enough to make sure that a certain level of service and detail is achieved and to make sure that the job will be well priced and there will not be any surprises on the construction site. More detailed drawings are necessary in order to create satisfying details and junctions, to show how the building components should be connected, specify all of the materials, finishes, fixtures, equipment, appliances and their junctions. It is either for a high-end result or simply to provide requested by the contractor details and to answer questions. Occasionally such drawings are necessary to allow to build a bespoke component which is a very important part of the design.
