Project description: Single-family dwelling. Development included ground floor rear extensions and internal reconfiguration of the house, although let's focus on the internal staircase which was the main and the most important part of the design. It was a very long process of getting it right with the Client’s requirements and our taste and preference. The staircase is atypical where the extended into the plinth and ceiling stringer made it special. After a few meetings on-site, encountering issues with the contractor's output, checking the building progress and its quality the whole project was successfully finished. 
RIBA Work Stages: 2 - 5 (Concept Design - Construction) 
My duties: I worked on the project since the beginning - starting with concept design through developed and technical design and construction stage. My main tasks were: preparation of existing layouts, developing of a schematic design, 3D modelling, detailed design, submitting an application, spatial coordination, tender package preparation, Building Regulations Drawings, preparation of a Schedule of Works and the JCT Minor Works Contract for signage.
